Obituary: Vincent Dabenigno, Lifelong Somerville Resident

Vincent C. Dabenigno, 88, a lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014.

Beloved husband of the late Helen I. (Leehan). Loving father of Donald J. and Paula M. of Medford, Joseph M. and his wife Jennifer of Stoneham and the late Robert J. Dabenigno. Brother of the late Joseph Dabenigno. Dear grandfather of D.J., Michelle, Julie, Katie and Matthew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143 on Friday 4-8 p.m. Additional parking for the calling hours will be available in St. Catherine of Genoa Church rear lot, 179 Summer St., Somerville.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at 11 at St. Catherine of Genoa Church followed by Interment with Military Honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vincent’s name to Little Sisters of the Poor or St. Catherine of Genoa listed above.
