Olympic Gold Medalists Stopping By Moe Wen Fencing Club

Somerville residents with a fondness for swordplay have a chance to learn from two world champs at Moe Wen Fencing Club over the next handful of days.

The club lets it be known that Andrea Baldini and Giorgio Avola - both of Italy’s 2012 Olympic gold medalist fencing team - will be visiting the facility at 290R Broadway until Match 24 for teaching and demonstrations.

Specifically, they’ll be around Moe Wen from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, Monday March 23, and Tuesday. They’ll also be at the club from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 21 and March 22.
