A car collision involving a pedestrian and two teenagers is currently under investigation by state and local police in Somerville, reported WHDH.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as an 18-year-old Arlington man and the passenger of the vehicle has been identified as a teenage girl. Police are still investigating her role in the accident.

State Police said that the driver noticed being followed and sped off. The Jeep the suspects were driving went off the road and hit a man walking on the sidewalk. Both suspects abandoned the vehicle and tried to flee, but were apprehended quickly.

State Police say the victim has been taken to Massachusetts General Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
