Police: U-Haul Manager Opens to Find Naked Man at Main Desk

The manager opened to quite the surprise early Friday morning.

A U-Haul manager, opening the Linwood Street location in Somerville early Friday morning, arrived to find an intoxicated naked man at the main desk, according to police.

The man had urinated and defecated on the floor and destroyed merchandise, police said.

Alexander Olivares-Thompson, 24, of 11 Langmaid Ave., Somerville, was arrested shortly after 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250 and trespassing.

According to police, Olivares-Thompson said he had taken an Uber to the area from Downtown Boston and found the facility unlocked.
