Registration for Summer Clay Classes!

Join us this summer at Mudflat for classes for both Adults and Children!

Join us this summer at Mudflat! Registration is open for our Summer semesters of Adult and Children s classes.

For Adults, Mudflat offers a 3-week semester of introductory classes in clay. All classes meet twice each week for a total of 6 classes. We also offer additional free practice time on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10-9:30 PM, and on Saturdays, 10 am – 4 pm. Tuition includes 25 lbs of clay with glazes and firings included. This short semester is a great way to try out a clay class!

Intro to Clay – Handbuilding & Wheelthrowing Basics
Tuition: $250

A. Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
B. Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30 - 9:30 pm

And for the kids, Mudflat offers 2 sessions each summer in July and August. Classes meet twice each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 weeks – a total of 6 classes.Choose a morning or afternoon section - each are 2 hours long.

Tuition: $200/section, includes all materials and firings
10% discount available for 2nd child in same family.

Kids Clay, Ages 5 - 11

Learn how to handbuild with slabs and coils and how to work with clay on the potter's wheel.

Session 1:
July 12 - 28, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section A: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Section B: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Session 2:
August 2 - 18, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section C: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Section D: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Teen Clay, Ages 12+

Wheelthrowing for teen students, beginning through advanced skills.

Session 1:
July 12 - 28, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section E: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Session 2:
August 2 - 18, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section F: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
