Second Medical Marijuana Shop Opens In Somerville
Revolutionary Clinics held a grand opening ceremony last week.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Medical marijuana company Revolutionary Clinics opened its new dispensary in Somerville last week, according to an announcement on PRNewswire. The company held a grand opening ceremony at the shop at 67 Broadway last Thursday, Nov. 9.
"We are incredibly excited to serve the community here in Somerville. We aim to have the best quality products and the high end service and will work hard to meet the needs of all of our clients," CEO Keith Cooper said in a press release.
Revolutionary Clinics started as a non-profit that provided heart screenings to young patients but switched to medical marijuana after the founder's daughter died of an opioid overdose. The company was encouraged by studies showing reduced opioid deaths in areas with friendlier marijuana logs, according to a press release.
