A Somerville Avenue mainstay shut its doors this year.
SOMERVILLE, MA — A Somerville Avenue mainstay quietly closed at some point over the past couple months. La Ronga Bakery, which opened about 50 years ago, has shut down.
According to Boston Restaurant Talk, it is unknown when exactly it closed, with social media posts speculating about its closure as far back as October. The bakery is listed as "permanently closed" on Google.
La Ronga was located at 599 Somerville Ave.
