Somerville BBQ Joint And Whiskey Bar Now Open
The third iteration of Andy Husbands's celebrated Smoke Shop has come to Somerville.
SOMERVILLE, MA – If you're a fan of barbecue and whiskey (who isn't?), you might be spending a lot more time at Assembly Row. Celebrated chef Andy Husbands opened his third Smoke Shop at the Somerville shopping and dining complex over the weekend, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.
The 4,500-square-foot space includes seating for 240 people, including 30 at the bar, 120 in the dining room, 30 in the private dining area and 60 on the front and back patios, Eater reported. In addition to barbecue staples like brisket, pulled pork, ribs and catfish and chicken baskets, the restaurant includes over 200 whiskeys and 50 craft beers.
The Smoke Shop is open from 11 a.m.-1 a.m. daily at 325 Assembly Row. The kitchen closes at 11 p.m.
