Somerville Community Meeting on WHCIS Schoolyard Renovations
The first phase of the project includes adding a playing field to the site.
SOMERVILLE, MA – City officials will hold a public meeting next week regarding planned renovations to the schoolyard at the Winter Hill Community Innovation School (WHCIS).
Mayor Joseph Curtatone, Ward 4 Alderman Tony Lafuente and the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development (OSPCD) will meet with residents Dec. 7 to discuss the first phase of the project, which will include the addition of a playing field.
The focus of the meeting will be to map out the plan, as well as timelines for phase one. It will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the WHCIS cafeteria.
