Somerville Company Will Add Up To 20 Workers

A local business that currently employs 85 people is prepared to tack on up to 20 more amid $10 million in new financing.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A Somerville company with 85 employees is prepared to tack on up to 20 more after raising $10 million in new financing, according to the State House News Service. Evergage, a personalization platform with a client base that includes Walmart Mexico, Hexaware Technologies and Lenovo, announced Wednesday that its total venture funding is now $31.5 million.

The Davis Square-based company assists businesses with providing online platforms that create a personalized, engaging experience for customers. Using a strategy called "The Power of 1," Evergage's mission is to help companies deliver true one-on-one customer engagement.

A spokeswoman for Evergage told State House News Evergage has doubled the size of its headquarters to 13,000 square feet and is seeking engineers, data scientists, sales reps and marketers. The company will host its fourth annual Personalization Summit Sept. 14; over 250 marketers, product managers and customer experience professionals are expected to attend.
