Check out these haunted happenings around town to get you in the Halloween spirit.

SOMERVILLE, MA – We're almost halfway through October, and that means the spooky happenings are ramping up as we get closer to Halloween. Here are some of the Halloween-themed events going on in Somerville this month.

Sunday, Oct. 14: Ghosts of Somerville
2-3:30 p.m. at Milk Row Cemetery

This ghostly gathering treats visitors to a guided tour of the grave sites. At each site a Ghost will engage in conversation about his or her life in Somerville in centuries past. A wonderful way to learn more about Somerville from those who lived in it!
Sunday, Oct. 14: Monster Mashed-Up at Somerstreets
2-6 p.m. on Somerville Ave. (School St. to Lowell St.)

SomerStreets is the City of Somerville’s take on the internationally-renowned Open Streets concept, closing busy city streets to vehicles, and opening them up for cycling, walking, dancing, running, and other modes of activity. This October’s SomerStreets will be Monster Mashed-Up themed with Halloween themed music and activities.
Thursday, Oct. 18: Halloween Bingo
10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Holland Street Center (167 Holland St.)

Thursday, Oct. 18: Halloween 'Haunted Hall'
6-8 p.m. at City Hall, 93 Highland Ave.
Join the City of Somerville on Thursday, October 18, for the annual “Haunted Hall” event at City Hall, Somerville High School, and the concourse from 6 to 8 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature costumed safe Trick-or-Treating, pumpkin decorating, games and activities, refreshments, a Haunted pathway tour, and more.
Costumes are encouraged for all ages, and all “haunted” elements will be appropriate for attendees of all ages.
A rain date has been set for Thursday, October 25. In case of inclement weather on October 18, check www.somervillema.gov or call 311 for rain plans.
Wednesday, Oct. 31: Halloween Bingo
10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Ralph & Jenny Center, 9 New Washington St.
