Somerville High Graduate Signs With Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gosder Cherilus earned Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors as a senior at Somerville High School in 2003.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Somerville High School product Gosder Cherilus to a two-year contract. Cherilus is a 100-game starter in the NFL.
Cherilus was last with the Indianapolis Colts. His new deal with Tampa Bay is worth $7 million over two seasons, according to NFL.com.

The 6-foot-7 lineman plays offensive tackle. He was selected in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
In 2003, Cherilus earned Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors as a senior at Somerville High School. He played college football at Boston College.
