Somerville Police Looking For 'Edged Weapon' Attacker
A person was attacked in Davis Square on Thursday.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Police are looking for a suspect after an assault with an “edged weapon” took place in Davis Square Thursday morning.
Police responded to the scene on Holland Street at approximately 9 a.m. and cordoned off the surrounding area between Orleans Restaurant and the Davis Square MBTA Red Line station with police tape. The victim of the attack was transported to the hospital with what is described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The department told Patch that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
