Somerville Police Renew Call For Tips About Cold Case
The 2009 murder of Charline Rosemond was recently the subject of "New England's Unsolved."

SOMERVILLE, MA — Ten years after Charline Rosemond was found shot to death in her father's car, Somerville police are renewing a call for information in the hopes of catching her killer. On April 13, 2009, the Everett resident's body was found behind the wheel of the car, which was parked in the lot of a Somerville apartment complex. Her family reported her missing five days earlier after she didn't return home from buying a new car.
No one has ever been charged with Rosemond's murder, but a Somerville man was convicted of perjury for lying to a grand jury during the investigation, according to Boston 25. Rosemond's murder was the subject of a recent episode of the network's "New England's Unsolved" series.
On Tuesday, Somerville police asked anyone with information about the murder of Charline Rosemond to contact Somerville Police Sgt. Michael Perrone at 617-625-1600 Ext. 7237 or the District Attorney's Office 781-897-6600.
