Somerville Pop-Up Restaurant Making Permanent Return

A Bow Market eatery that left in September has found a permanent home in Union Square.

SOMERVILLE, MA — A pop-up restaurant that left Bow Market in September will soon be here to stay. Korean restaurant Perillas, known for its bibimbap rice dish, has found a permanent home at the Union Square complex.

The eatery moved out of Bow Market last fall and was replaced by Egyptian pop-up Koshari Mama, Eater Boston reported. Perillas founder James Choi has leased one of the permanent spaces at Bow Market, which has 30 vendors, some of which operate as pop-ups, according to Eater.

The restaurant is slated to open this summer, with a grand opening scheduled for September.
