Somerville’s RF O’Sullivan’s Celebrates Celtics Win With New Special

The Celtic burger will be served at the pub for only $10 during every playoff game.

SOMERVILLE, MA — R.F. O'Sullivan & Son, a classic Irish pub at 282 Beacon Street in Somerville, is celebrating the Celtics big win on Sunday with a themed special during each payoff game.

Operating under new management, the restaurant reopened on April 23 after being closed since May 2021 and is continuing it's 30-year run as a laid-back hangout centered around burgers and beer while introducing an expanded menu.

R.F. O'Sullivan's & Son is now debuting a Celtic playoff special this season. "The Celtic" includes lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, pickles, and American cheese and will go for only $10 during each playoff game. In addition, the bar will also showcase all upcoming Celtics playoff games on their TVs with sound.

Lauded as one of Greater Boston's best hidden gems, the restaurant features 15 bar seats, 30 dining seats, three HDTVs, vintage signs, and a fireplace.

R.F. O'Sullivan & Son is currently open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday from 4 to 10 p.m.
