Malden Teen Killed In Somerville Identified
Officials have identified the 16-year-old boy killed Tuesday evening.
SOMERVILLE, MA — A 16-year-old Malden boy was fatally shot Tuesday night in Somerville, according to officials. The victim and shooter are believed to have known each other, the Middlesex DA's Office said.
As of early Wednesday morning, no arrests were known to be made.
The victim was identified Wednesday as Tenzin Kunkhyen.

The shooting was reported around 5 p.m. at 14 Farragut Avenue. Police arrived to find the boy suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to Mount Auburn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said there was never a threat to the community at large, and that the shooting was not thought to be random.
