Somerville Teen Set Off Fireworks From Car In Cambridge: Police
The 18-year-old was issued a summons after police responded to reports of fireworks being shot from a car in the Port.

SOMERVILLE, MA — An 18-year-old from Somerville was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of fireworks in Cambridge Monday night. Police said the teen, who police did not identify by name, was setting off fireworks from a car in the Port around 11:40 p.m.
Officers stopped the car and seized the fireworks. Cambridge police reminded residents that it is illegal to use, possess or sell fireworks in Massachusetts. It is also illegal to purchase them in another state and transport them into Massachusetts.
