Somerville's American Fresh Beer Garden Closing At End Of Month

The Assembly Row beer garden will serve its last beer Oct. 1 before the opening of its brewhouse.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Assembly Row's American Fresh Beer Garden will close at the end of the month, but Slumbrew fans won't be without their beer for long. The company is expanding to American Fresh Brewhouse, a 126-seat gastro-brewery under construction at Assembly.

The beer garden will serve its last drinks on Sunday, Oct. 1. There will be a closing night party on Saturday, Sept. 30, headlined by Boston-based rock group The Buzz.

American Fresh Brewhouse is expected to open at 490 Foley Street some time in October. The space will feature 24 draught lines, serving Slumbrew beer brewed on-site, and open its own beer garden in the spring. As always, dogs are welcome.
