Somerville's Newest Brewery Opens In Union Square

A new brewery came to Somerville as part of Bow Market's Union Square debut.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Add another brewery to Somerville's roster. Bow Market debuted in Union Square this weekend and with it came Remnant Brewing. The brand-new brewery is the brainchild of David Kusher and Joel Prickett, alums of John Harvard's Brewery and Lord Hobo, with Mystic Brewery's Charlie Cummings rounding out the team as head brewer.

Remnant has a bar, standing room and outdoor patio and can fit 180 people, according to Boston Magazine. It plans to offer saisons, IPAs, sessions, sours and stouts, all-day coffee service, pastries and crackers. Customers will also be able to bring in food from the other vendors at Bow Market, which opened on Saturday and will continue opening storefronts on a rolling basis.

Bow Market will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight. For vendor hours and a full list of offerings visit its website.
