Somerville's SomerMovie Beast: Film Festival Lineup

SOMERVILLE, MA – The annual free SomerMovie Beast film festival in Somerville starts July 6. Throughout the summer, the city will be screening animal-inspired films at various locations throughout Somerville. The festival concludes August 24 with a movie decided by resident votes.

Here's a look at this year's lineup, as well as how you can vote on the final film. All movies begin at dusk.

• July 6: Sing – Seven Hills Park
• July 13: Best in Show – Seven Hills Park
• July 20: Jaws – Baxter Riverfront Park
• July 27: Bedtime for Bonzo – Powderhouse Park
• August 3: Finding Dory – East Somerville School
• August 10: Jurassic World – Nunziato Park
• August 17: The Secret Lives of Pets – Mystic River Development
• August 24: Viewers' Choice: Babe; 101 Dalmatians (1996); Marley & Me – Seven Hills Park
