Stop Motion Animation class at SCATV

Students will learn the basics of stop motion animation, including how to use the camera, animation applications, and how to build their own characters and sets. Students will make a one minute animation to be screened in the last class. Activities include armature building, character design, set design and construction, story telling, and stop motion techniques.

Instructor Isabella Leao Deslandes has studied animation at the Art Institute of Boston. She spent the summer interning at SCATV to perfect her editing technique.
