Taste Of Somerville 2018 Postponed

SOMERVILLE, MA – Taste of Somerville has been rescheduled due to expected inclement weather, according to its organizers. The annual event, which showcases the city's wealth of offerings and provides an opportunity for local businesses to connect and meet their fans and customers, was originally scheduled for June 13.

It will now take place next Wednesday, June 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Nathan Tufts Park. Dozens of restaurants are confirmed for this year, and the Taste will also feature aspects of Somerville's cultural and entertainment community, like art installations, children's entertainment and a slate of live acoustic performances from local musicians curated by the Boston Music Awards.

Proceeds from the event will support the Walnut Street Center, a human services agency that provides self-advocacy and community involvement support to some of the city's most vulnerable citizens.
