VIDEO: Davis Square Celebrates Bruins Win
With some cheering and honking, Davis Square was festive but relatively subdued.
Modest crowds stood outside in Davis Square last night to watch game seven of the Stanley Cup and, ultimately, celebrate when the Bruins won. Further down Elm Street, similar crowds gathered and celebrated at , and elsewhere.
Minutes after the hockey team's victory, cars driving through the square began honking horns, and at least one car passenger blew a vuvuzela.
Sporadic firecrackers could be heard in the distance, and cheering young men walked down the street, occasionally banging on street signs and jumping into the road.

In all, the mood was celebratory, but compared to the scene witnessed outside TD Garden in Boston, it was restrained.
