WATCH: Somerville High Schoolers Deliver Kindness Cards to K-8 Schools
The Senior Class Committee spread holiday cheer to every school in town last week.
SOMERVILLE, MA – For four students at Somerville High School, spreading joy this holiday season meant branching out beyond their classroom walls.
Seniors Ella Sprick, Bianka De Paula, Anika Kawsar and Spencer Pitkin delivered personalized kindness cards, banners and letters to the 10 K-8 schools in Somerville last Thursday, ending a tumultuous year for many in the city on a brighter note.
According to history teacher Kevin Dua, the project was the brainchild of the Senior Class of 2017 Committee and took a week to coordinate.
