Who Will Be At The Somerville Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest?

The sixth annual festival kicks off Friday at the Center for Arts at the Armory.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Craft beer fans and locally sourced fare, rejoice. The SBN Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest returns to Somerville for its sixth year this weekend. The festival runs Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10 and features craft beer and cider samples, as well as cuisine from chefs and bakers across New England.

To qualify as "Hyper-Local," the product must be made by New England producers, and several contain ingredients grown, made or harvested in the region. These local artisans will be highlighted over three sessions in two days.

The Friday Beer on Cask Tasting night (June 9, 6:30-9:30 p.m.) calls out to the most passionate, adventurous and die-hard brew fans. It also features commercial brews and offers the opportunity to sample unfiltered and unpasteurized beer with no nitrogen or carbon dioxide added. Cask products are made exclusively for the festival from six craft breweries and a cider producer.
