Winter Hill Restaurant Closes After 4 Years In Somerville

SOMERVILLE, MA – A longtime area restaurant has closed after four years in Somerville, according to Eater. Royal Bengal, an Indian restaurant that relocated from Cambridge's Central Square to Winter Hill in 2014, recently shut down.

The restaurant spent about 15 years in Central Square before making the move, Boston Restaurant Talk reported. Its menu featured Bengali dishes like chicken stew, spicy goat meat with rice and shrimp in coconut milk gravy.

It is not yet known what will become of the space at 364 Medford St.
