Woman Killed, Another Injured In Somerville Hit And Run
Authorities said they believe a pickup truck hit the women while they were in a crosswalk Friday evening.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Police are searching for a pickup truck they believe to have been involved in a fatal hit and run Friday evening.
Two pedestrians were struck around 7:16 p.m. at the intersection of Powderhouse Boulevard and Hardan Road, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. One of the women was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities believe the women were in the crosswalk when struck.

The vehicle is believed to be a dark colored late model full-size pickup. It may have sustained front-end damage on the left side.
