• MIAA baseball: Frontier's season ends with tough 5-3 loss to Blue Hills (recorder.com) — Frontier baseball’s postseason run ended at Valiton Field in South Deerfield with a 5-3 loss to Blue Hills in the Division 4 Round of 32. The Redhawks, who finished 16-5 and shared the Suburban League East title, mounted an early comeback but couldn’t solve Blue Hills pitcher Mike McDonagh despite strong senior leadership. 
• After failed vote on new location, South County Senior Center board mulls next steps (recorder.com) — South County seniors who use programs at the South Deerfield Polish American Citizens’ Club and Deerfield Town Hall will see services scaled back after Deerfield voters rejected moving the center to Sunderland. The Board of Oversight is now exploring forming a regional district and will close the foot clinic July 1 while trimming events and midday hours as staff juggle multiple locations.
