Exceptionally talented ballet dancers ages 13 to 25 - hailing from 23 different countries - will compete on the same stage for company contracts, scholarships and more prizes.The competition, which commences May 12th, will conclude with a third round featuring the finalists on May 15th.
This will be followed by a Gala performance on May 16th. Charles Askegard and Maria Kowroski of New York City Ballet and Whitney Jensen of Boston Ballet, among others, will perform with the winners of BIBC 2011.
