Boston Public Schools is piloting a new community engagement game called Community PlanIt.
This is an online game created by the Engagement Game Lab at Emerson College to engage BPS Parents, Students, Teachers, Administrators, and Community Members with school officials and each other in order to discuss the most important issues in determining what makes a quality public school in Boston.
The game will culminate in an innovative face-to-face meeting at English High in Jamaica Plain at 6:00 PM, where participants and school officials will discuss the results of the game and the BPS response.

Though the game has already started, it's never too late to join in! The current 5-day mission is called "A Better and Safer School Environment," where game-players discuss what we need to bring to the current environments at BPS schools, what BPS is doing to maintain or improve those environments, and how the district goes about determining what type of environment is "best" for students.
So join today (https://communityplanit.org.) and become a part of the conversation! You'll have your ideas and voices clearly presented, permanently recorded, and available for all (including those at all levels of government) to hear and follow.
