With the cold weather nearly behind us, it’s time to get out, shed a few layers and put your best foot forward. On April 3rd, 2011, The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) is helping students recover their warm-weather fabulousness at the new class, “Burlesque Fabulousness: Taking Yourself to the Next Level!”
Learn the sassy, sultry moves that define the art of burlesque in a fun, lighthearted atmosphere which will have you feeling confident and fabulous in just one class! Students will learn everything from how to choreograph their own routine, to how to incorporate fun props such as feather boas, chairs and glamour makeup. Students are asked to bring a song that ignites their inner vixen/superhero/spy (or whatever else you want to be that day!) and two props you’d like to work with.
Whether you’ve taken a burlesque class before and are looking to take your skills to the next level, or are a burlesque beginner, you'll leave with an array of moves to fan your fabulousness in any weather! *Please Note: this class does NOT require removal of clothing.
