Couture Sewing Finishes

Have you ever wanted to learn how to put those finishing tailoring touches on your sewing projects? Well now you can! This new class offered at Grey’s Fabrics and Notions will demystify the process of creating welt pockets, bound button holes, and fabric covered buttons.

Learning to incorporate these elements into your projects will allow you to create more polished and professional products. Welt pockets, bound button holes, and fabric covered buttons can be used to dress up jackets, vests, skirts, pants, and outerwear – the possibilities are endless!

Instructional handouts will be provided, just bring a current project you want to include these elements on, or some scrap fabric to practice with. Suiting and lining materials are recommended, fusible interfacing is required.
