Easter Sunday at The Beehive

This year all the cool kids will be one place, and one place only – The Beehive in Boston’s trendy South End. From Jazz hipsters seeking live music and hand-crafted libations, to families enjoying Easter brunch classics, The Beehive is the only place to be come April 24^th, 2011.

Easter Brunch:

Doors open at 10:00AM with The Beehive’s Easter Jazz Brunch featuring live music from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, and a two-course, prix fixe menu of luxe, comfort cuisine classics by Executive Chef and Food Network veteran, Rebecca Newell. Choose from (2) prix fixe options, priced at either $23.95 or $29.95, depending on your taste! Start your morning (or afternoon) off with options such as Greek Easter Soup with Lamb or Smoked Trout Salad (Crostini Spring Lettuce Salad, Shaved Ricotta Salata, Spring Peas, Radishes, Olives) before indulging in the main event. Indulge in brunch classic such as Roast Leg of Lamb (with salsa verde and oregano potatoes), Thick-cut French Toast – (with Chantilly cream and maple syrup), and The Beehive’s acclaimed Eggs Shakshuka (sunnyside eggs baked “North African Style” with tomato sauce and polenta), for a real bohemian breakfast.

Kids can order off the “Little Bee’s Kids Menu” ($8), before they scurry to partake in The Beehive’s  annual Easter egg hunt including a surprise appearance by the Easter Bunny from 10:00AM to 3:00PM! Sit and sip mimosas while listening to the Jazz sounds of the Jamie Stewardson Quartet from 10:00AM to 1:00PM, and the Phil Grenadier Quartet from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.

Easter Dinner:

If you choose to sleep in, The Beehive still has you covered. Enjoy Easter dinner starting at 4:00PM with amazing food & cocktails and special Jazz performances by Nat Mugavero and John Lockwood Quartet from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and the Greg Hopkins Quartet from 8:30PM to 12:00AM.
