Learn how to be your own tailor with the Boston Center for Adult Education’s upcoming class, “Easy Alterations To Save You Money,” on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Students will learn how to hem pants and jeans, sew a button, mend a torn buttonhole, and perform simple alterations to take in a skirt or top. Save your hard-earned money and transform your own clothes with these easy-to-learn essential skills!

No prior sewing experience is necessary. All alterations taught during class can be performed with or without a sewing machine. The class will be hosted with shared sewing machines.
