Getting in on the Ground Floor!

Ever since The Devil Wears Prada you've dreamed of working at a glossy publication. The glitz, the glam, the parties, the writing and fact-checking, staying late...wait, what?

What is it really like to work at a magazine? What is the day-to-day like? Most importantly, how can you land a dream job in print? Well, the Boston Center for Adult Education has done it again by bringing reality back to the classroom with "Getting in on the Ground Floor, Working at a Magazine with Brittany Jasnoff, Boston Magazine Managing Editor" This single session class offers students the opportunity to learn tips, tricks and tactics for landing the perfect gig. As if learning from an industry insider wasn't enough, students will receive an in-class writing assignment to test their journalist chops. The best submission from the classroom will get one lucky student an internship at Boston magazine! Please bring your resumes to class for consideration!
