Fun for children ages 5 and up, this class will walk children and their caregivers through step-by-step instructions of how to build and decorate their own magical apparatus, while answering burning questions such as: “Why do kites have different shapes?,” “Do kites need tails?,” and  “Where were kites invented?”  After the children build their own ultra-lite kite, take a walk to the Boston Common, for a test drive and special tips on how to get the kite in the air and keep it there!

Bring the whole family, a little creativity and a sense of adventure! No extra fee for materials. Registration required for each participant, and each child must be accompanied by a registered adult.
