Mother’s Day at The Beehive!

This year show Mom you really care by skipping the buffet and make a bee-line for The Beehive in Boston’s South End for amazing food, libations and performances!

Enjoy The Beehive’s delicious fare, prepared by executive Chef Rebecca Newell with a brunch from 10:00AM – 4:00PM, while listening to a live jazz performance by Cambridge native Miss Tess from 10:00AM- 1:00PM. Voted “Best Roots Act” by The Boston Phoenix, this Bostonian will start your Mother’s Day off on a happy note, with her up-beat playful songs. 

Hold onto your hearts as The Beehive’s next performer, Michelle “Evil Gal” Willson, takes the stage from 1:30PM - 4:00PM. Acknowledged by aficionados of Jazz and Blues as a passionate and gifted performer, Michelle Willson has recorded and released four critically acclaimed albums for Rounder/Bullseye Records. Before signing with Rounder, Michelle’s group won a prestigious W.C. Handy award for best unsigned blues act as a result of their win at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues competition - and Michelle was later nominated for a (best female blues vocal) Handy alongside Etta James and Koko Taylor.

Don’t go anywhere! As day turns into night the music keeps playing! Stay at The Beehive for dinner from 5:00PM to 1:00AM. Enjoy afternoon music provided by the soulful talented Sharon “Sugar” Jones from 4:00PM-7:30PM. Finally, stay and enjoy The Beehive’s Sunday Blues from 8:00PM – 12:00AM featuring some of Boston’s best soul performers!
