The Beehive Hosts Flamenco Night with Bárbara Martinez

The Beehive beckons “Come Dance with Us,” at a special Flamenco Night featuring the one and only, Bárbara Martinez on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 from 8:00PM to 12:00PM! Evoking Flamenco style with hints of Middle Eastern influences, Bárbara is considered by El Universal to be “one of the most important representatives of flamenco.” Make a night of it and enjoy The Beehive’s Flamenco specials including seafood paella ($24), garlic shrimp with spinach flan ($11) and Spanish tapas while enjoying the show!

Accompanied by guitarist Juanito Pascual, percussionist Sergio Martinez, bassist Alex Alvear and pianist Gonzalo Grau, Bárbara will dance and sing her way through a program of old and new flamenco, infused with Latin and Jazz. Don’t miss this special performance at The Beehive, for one night only! Reservations are recommended.
