Memorial For 'Baby Doe' Placed at Deer Island Beach
The remains of an unidentified child were found at the beach on June 25.

Those touched by the ongoing efforts to identify a little girl who was found dead on a beach back in June have set up memorial on Deer Island in honor of the child, Fox25 reports.
Stuffed animals, flowers and an array of messages have been placed in the area where “Baby Doe” was found on June 25 by a woman walking her dog along the beach.

The child’s remains, who investigators believe was four years old, were discovered in a trash bag with polka dot leggings and a zebra-print blanket.
Baby Doe is said to be about 30 pounds and three-and-a-half feet tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

On Monday, MassDOT displayed the child’s image on 84 billboards across the state of Massachusetts in an effort to help police make a positive identification.
