84 billboards displaying a computer-generated image of a little girl found dead on a Deer Island beach have been set up across 50 Massachusetts locations, state police say.
State Police, along with investigators at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, have teamed up with MassDOT to intensify their push to identify the toddler’s remains.
The billboards feature the child’s computer-generated image, the case’s anonymous text-a-tip line and the number for a phone tip line.
Those with information regarding the child can text GIRL and their tip to 62783. Tips can also be phoned in by calling 617-396-5655.
The child’s remains were discovered back on June 25 on Deer Island by a woman walking her dog. Investigators say the child was found in a trashbag.
White leggings and a zebra-print blanket were also found inside the bag.
Officials believe the child was aproximately four years old when she died. She had brown eyes, brown hair and weighed about 30 pounds. She also had pierced ears.
