• New seafood restaurant to take over former space of renowned Boston chef's eatery (masslive.com) — A new seafood spot called The Shell Bar is slated to open at 550 Tremont St. in the South End in spring 2027, taking over the former B&G Oysters space. Backed by the team behind acclaimed Saltie Girl, it will feature elevated fried fish, a refined raw bar, and desserts from Sweet Boy's Ben Sidell, with lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch service planned.
