• Southwick committee approves application to build new playground (thereminder.com) — Southwick’s Community Preservation Committee has approved Woodland School’s $240,000 application for an inclusive new playground, featuring accessible equipment, shade, and a tractor nodding to the town’s agricultural roots. The project now heads to Town Meeting in May, while the CPC also advanced appraisals for Sofinowski Preserve expansion and farmland protections, decisions that could shape future open space and development in town.
