2nd Annual Recovery Fest Returns to Stoneham this September
Stoneham Coalition and Hope for Boston's Homeless Partner for 2nd Annual Recovery Fest on the Stoneham Town Common

The Stoneham Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Community and Hope for Boston’s Homeless will host the 2nd Annual Recovery Fest at the Stoneham Town Common on Saturday, September 30th from 3pm-6pm. Recovery Fest is a family friendly community celebration of recovery from substance use disorder during National Recovery Month. All are welcome to attend and enjoy free music, guest speakers, resource tables, games, and raffles.
The Stoneham Coalition is a local non-profit organization that seeks to address substance use, addiction and their root causes through education, advocacy, and support. The mission of Hope for Boston’s Homeless is to create awareness of substance use disorder, mental health, and the plight of homeless individuals. The organization collects monetary contributions, donations of food and clothing, and resource materials regarding shelters and treatment facilities. Hope for Boston’s Homeless strives to provide hope and encouragement through conversation with those living without housing.
The Coalition and Hope for Boston’s Homeless will also be selling Recovery Fest t-shirts to raise funds to support scholarships for local individuals seeking residence in sober living.
“We are so grateful to partner with Hope for Boston’s Homeless and so many local partners to host the 2nd Annual Recovery Fest,” says Carol O’Loughlin, Chair of the Stoneham Coalition “This event helps ensure that those in our community have the resources and support needed to heal and thrive in their recovery journey.”

“Last year’s Recovery Fest was a great success, and we were thrilled to bring together so many community members to celebrate recovery,” adds Lois Gould, board official of the Stoneham Coalition and co-founder of volunteer group, Hope for Boston’s Homeless. “Events like these reinforce that we are all in this together and there is support in our community for sober living and substance use prevention. We can’t wait to celebrate another year with everyone on the Stoneham Common.”
The Stoneham Coalition and Hope for Boston’s Homeless would like to thank the following sponsors for generously supporting this event and those in recovery: Stoneham Ford, StonehamBank, Northern Trust Bank, and Boyds Direct. We are also grateful to our many friends and partners who have donated raffle items.
