36th Stoneham Town Day Has Food, Fun, and Info For All

The 36rd Annual Stoneham Town Day is this Saturday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce 2019 Town Day committee has planned a full day of exciting activities.

Town Day is offered in partnership with the Town of Stoneham and is presented MelroseWakefield Hospital and Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health. This year’s sponsors are Eastern Bank, Stoneham Ford, Salem Five, StonehamBank, Cassidy Landscaping, Premier Homes Real Estate, RE/MAX Andrew Realty Services, Gerrior Masonry and Landscape Contractors, Excel Orthopaedic Specialists, Senior Whole Health, Kindercare and The Stoneham Independent.

This year’s Town Day will include more than 130 booths filled with information, giveaways, activities, demonstrations, food and fun. The Chamber will offer the popular Giant Prize Wheel again this year, as well as face painting, balloon art and airbrush tattoos. Highlights of the day will include:

• The Stoneham Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Community’s Annual Run/Walk for Recovery;
• The Giant 70 Foot Slide sponsored by Salem Five;
• A Pop-Up Dog Park and Mr. Glen Victor Doyle’s Dog Show;
• North American Amusement Rides including Moonwalk, Tubs of Fun Amusement Ride and Kiddie Ferris Wheel;
• Giant Prize Wheel & Town Day Merchandise at the Chamber table;
• Stone Zoo Van featuring favorite program animals;
• Groove Syndicate, a six-piece funk, soul, R&B, and classic rock band;
• Knucklebones games for kids,
• StonehamBank Mobile Unit;
• Rock N Roll Racing from Stoneham Ford;
• Speed Pitch sponsored by RE/MAX Andrew Realty Services,
• Emergency Management Vehicle from Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department;
