Aldo Migliorini Passes Away
Longtime Stoneham resident served in the Navy during World War II.

Aldo A. Migliorini of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, at his home. He was 91 years of age.
Born on May 1, 1927 in Gaeta, Italy, Aldo is the loving son of the late Andrea Migliorini and Civita (Gallinaro) Migliorini. Aldo is a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Aldo loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Aldo was a professional photographer for many years specializing in portraits and weddings. He was the resident wedding photographer at Fantasia Restaurant in Cambridge. He took many beautiful pictures, which remain as a forever keepsake. During World War II, Aldo proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy as a Seaman Second Class.

Aldo's favorite pastime was shopping and bargain hunting. He was an avid Patriot's football fan. He also loved a good baked stuffed lobster and eating fried clams while sitting by the water in Gloucester.
Aldo is the loving companion and former husband of Angela Marcellino. He is the husband of the late Barbara E. (Haines) Migliorini. The devoted father of Steven A. Migliorini and his wife Denise, Robert A. Migliorini and his wife Maureen, Karen A. Patalano and her husband Steven, Paul A. Migliorini and his wife Kristen, the late Al M. Migliorini, the late David M. Migliorini and his surviving wife Julie. Aldo is the cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Maria T. (Migliorini) Miliora.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Aldo's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, July 10th at 12 pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family prior to the Service and during Visitation beginning at 10 am. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
