All In Stoneham Benefit With Colarusso On The Board

In a Letter to the Editor, resident says Colarusso has integrity and a real commitment to people.

A Letter to the Editor from Erin Dirks:

I’m writing this letter because Caroline Colarusso is a friend of mine and a friend of my family. I've seen commentary written about her lately that doesn’t accurately reflect the person she is and wish to let you all know the Caroline that I know.

I met Caroline Colarusso a long time ago when our sons played hockey together in Stoneham Youth Hockey. Caroline Colarusso has integrity and a real commitment to people. She will stand up for what is right and hold others accountable for their words and actions. She fights for the little guy.

Caroline became an important person in my life when my son was diagnosed with Kleine Levin Syndrome. Many people wanted to help and simply said let me know what I can do. Caroline didn’t just say let me know what I can do. Instead she said this is what I will do. She had a vision, a true plan to help. She didn’t do it alone, but it was her vision that changed our lives and raised much needed funds for our son suffering from this disease that he is still suffering from today many years later.

I wish I went to school with Caroline because she would always be the one standing up for the unpopular person or befriending someone who wasn’t in the in crowd. She is an outsider and won’t be corrupted no matter what.

Caroline is not just a talker she is a doer. Our community benefits from having her represent us. She is not afraid to stand up and take action. She is a wife, a mom and a daughter. She is caring for her ailing elderly mother and is compassionate to all especially those in need. Our family knows this.

I said it at Connor’s fundraiser, and I’ll proudly say it again if Caroline could do so much for just one boy, one family just imagine what she could do in a position to impact our community. She has done just that. I am certain that she makes decisions with integrity based on facts and how it impacts every one of us. Its critical that she remains on the Board of Selectmen for all of us. Please join me in enthusiastically supporting Caroline Colarusso for re-election to the Board of Selectman.
