April 11 Deadline for Completed Chamber Scholarship Applications from High School Seniors

The deadline for Stoneham Chamber of Commerce scholarship applications is Friday, April 11. Applications from high school seniors must be complete and received in the Chamber office at 271 Main Street, Suite L-02, Stoneham. All graduating high school seniors who have a connection to a Chamber member are eligible to apply for the scholarships.

The Chamber currently offers several scholarships in amounts ranging from $500 to $1000.  Two of the scholarships are given in memory of former Chamber members and supporters Kathleen E. Bray and John F. Mahoney, Jr. All scholarship payments are made directly to the college.

Scholarships are not necessarily needs based and application criteria require that applicants be either the child or grandchild of a member in good standing of the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce or an employee of a member in good standing. Applicants are asked to provide two letters of reference, along with a current official transcript from their school and an essay reflecting their educational goals.
