Aroma Café Offers Expansive Menu

This Reading-based breakfast joint is more than meets the eye.

On Main Street in Reading under a few red awnings you can find , a safe bet for a quick latte or a relaxed brunch stretching into the afternoon, with modern jazz on the stereo and soft lighting throughout.

Inside, expect lots of wood dining services, slick lighting and long glass cases full of freshly baked buttery goodness. The establishment hand presses every espresso, latte and cappuccino and bakes all of their pastries, like muffins and scones fresh daily. 

After six years of crafting breakfasts and steaming cups each morning, Aroma Café has built a steady following of locals.

There is a full breakfast menu with classics like eggs Benedict, omelets, corn beef hash and of course, pancakes. There are several seasonal coffee flavors available with or without caffeine, hot or cold. The house-made scones are an especially popular item.

While they are known for their morning fare, some of their signature items are actually on their lengthy lunch menu.

Special favorites include their buffalo chicken wrap, Tuscan chicken panini and Vermont goat cheese pecan salad.

Aroma also caters events and large platters are available with 24 hours notice. They also serve up lots of ice cream and frozen yogurt, if you still have room after your meal.

Hours are slightly limited here, as the establishment closes by 3 p.m. every day and are closed on Mondays, but as they only serve breakfast and lunch, it has never really been a problem. Credit cards are also accepted.
