Betty Luciano Passes Away

Longtime resident worked for the Town of Stoneham for 33 years as a Human Resources Administrator.

Elizabeth "Betty" A. (Bishop) Luciano, of Stoneham, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully on Monday Sept. 17. She was 82 years of age.

Betty was a resident of Stoneham for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the Town of Stoneham for 33 years as a Human Resources Administrator.

Betty was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Louis M. Luciano. Loving mother of David B. Luciano and his wife Kathleen. Cherished grandmother of Anthony Luciano, Joseph and Michael Amazeen. Dear sister of the late Paul, Robert, M. George, Jeanette and Dorothy Bishop, Helen Lawrence, Florence Finn and Pauline Mitchell. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT28), Stoneham, Saturday, Sept. 22 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Betty's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday, Sept. 21 from 4 to 7 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
